Alex Clarkson, Prospective Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Stevenage, has objected to the proposal to build 200 houses on the land between Watton Road and Swangleys Lane in Knebworth. The the text of the objection letter is below:
Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Stevenage, Alex Clarkson, has written to the consultation on closing Stevenage and Knebworth stations' ticket offices and objected to the proposal.
At a packed meeting of Stevenage Conservative Association’s members in Knebworth on Monday 17th July 2023, the local Party selected Alex Clarkson to be the Conservative Candidate for Stevenage at the next General Election.
I moved into Stevenage three years ago, and fell in love with the town’s immense open green spaces. Stevenage is a haven of both town and country. I work in the health and safety sector, keeping employees and public safe.
I am asking you to vote for me to be your Roebuck Councillor to keep Stevenage Council focussed on delivering the services we all pay for and not waste money on Labour’s vanity projects.
As a local resident and a family man, I want to see Symonds Green prosper. If elected, I will work hard to solve issues and problems affecting local residents and make our neighbourhood an even better place to live.
