Nick Leech - Delivering Services for Roebuck

I am asking you to vote for me to be your Roebuck Councillor to keep Stevenage Council focussed on delivering the services we all pay for and not waste money on Labour’s vanity projects.

I want the Labour Council to fix the garages they own to ease parking congestion. I want to champion our neighbourhoods and keep them clean and tidy. I want more attention on anti-social behaviour, especially around Shephalbury Park, to make us all feel safer. I want Stevenage Council to cut back overgrown trees and not brush away the concerns of those having to live underneath them.

I want the Council to look after its social housing stock so that homes are insulated and repairs are done swifty and to a high standard. I will oppose any plans to reduce black bin sizes or move to 3 week collections.

I want Labour to acknowledge that most of us need to drive. We need more parking spaces, especially with new developments. We don’t want Lytton Way closed to drivers creating congestion in the town centre. We need the Labour-run Council to start planning for the electric vehicles we will all be driving in years to come.

I have lived in Stevenage for over 13 years and work as an analyst for Sky. I'm an avid beekeeper and when not looking after the bees themselves, am also the county training co-ordinator for new beekeepers.
