Be part of the discussion with the Stevenage Conservative Policy Forum

A political party gets its strength from its members, not just in action on the doorstep or financially from donations, but also from the ideas and the intellectual power we generate collectively.

The Conservative Policy Forum (CPF) is a nationwide initiative, using members as a giant think tank.  It takes important issues of the day and allows us to discuss them then circulate our responses back to the national party creating a vial link between grassroots and ministers

Locally we want to examine issues that face us in Stevenage, Knebworth, Codicote, Datchworth and Aston.  Finding the balance of opinion in our association and supporting our councillors in the chamber with our ideas.

We are looking to relaunch the Stevenage CPF and invite you to join us as we discuss a series of topics over the Autumn including:

  • 'Conservative values` - our relationship with the state
  • Planning and Housing

We will go back to good, old fashioned, face to face discussions as well as taking the conversation online with a private, members-only Facebook discussion group.

If you would like to be part of the debate please contact Allan McNab or Alex Farquharson at office@stevenageconservatives.uk

If you would like to host a discussion group with members close to you in your part of Stevenage or your village then please let us know so that we get opinions from all parts of the constituency.
