The back of Oaks Cross shops, which was described as an ‘eyesore’ by residents, was refurbished earlier this year.
Cllr Adam Mitchell CC, Cllr Alex Farquharson and former Cllr Doug Bainbridge secured the installation of a new fence as well as a thorough clean of the area.
The Councillors funded the repair works from their locality budgets; Cllr Mitchell CC: £3,500, Cllr Farquharson: £500, former Cllr Bainbridge: £400.
