I have been visiting Stevenage since I was a child, spending my summers with my grandparents in Shephall. I moved here myself 18 years ago to start my own family, and my children attended Peartree then Thomas Alleynes and Marriotts schools. My grandmother still lives in Shephall and my mum has now followed me here, so my roots have moved with me.
I have been lucky enough to have a successful career in the construction industry managing Business Assurance and Performance internationally. Like many people, I have now moved to home working which has made me feel even more connected to my little corner of Stevenage.
I am a passionate advocate of supporting community businesses; shopping small and locally where I can which has the added benefit of being a far more sustainable way to live. You can expect to hear more from me on this topic in the next three years!
When I'm not working or performing my duties as the newly elected Councillor for Bandley Hill, you can find me either enjoying the local green spaces with my dog Denny or at the gym working on the other great passion of my life; bodybuilding.
