I was born in Shephall and went to the local primary and junior school's and then onto Thomas Alleynes.
As an adult I have lived in Bandley Hill, Longmeadow and for the past twenty years in Roebuck.
Stevenage is a fantastic place to live and work. The town has many great attributes, however I am becoming increasingly more frustrated with the direction the Labour controlled Council is taking us, primarily over issues such as planning.
Recently, planning applications have been approved for massive swathes of green belt land to build on in areas to the northern and eastern boundaries of Stevenage. Not to mention the 3,000 flats planned for our town centre.
I am holding surgeries at the beginning of each month and you are welcome to come along and voice you concerns over local issues affecting you as a resident of Roebuck Ward. Dates and times of the surgeries can be found on Stevenage Borough Council's website or in the local press.
