Outcry over cycle and walking lanes in Knebworth high street

Knebworth has been selected as part of the Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) which proposes changes to footpaths, crossings and cycle routes.

Residents were finally given the opportunity to review these proposals a few weeks ago and allowed to give their opinions. At the meeting on 2 November 2022 with residents, Cllr Tandi voiced the widespread concern from local businesses about the restrictions that could be imposed on the Hight Street and how this would affect trade.
