NHDC: Purple bin worries

NHDC are considering increasing the time between purple bin collections to every three weeks.

Cllr Tandi said "It is difficult to see how families whose bins are already completely full or bursting would be able to cope with this, unless bigger bins or special collections are introduced." Garden Waste Collection fees have also been increased which has led to anger from residents who are already struggling with the cost of living.

Cllr Tandi and Cllr Ian Moody would welcome your comments about the waste collection service and will raise any concerns when this comes to Council. Please contact Cllr Tandi and Cllr Moody via email at: [email protected] and [email protected]
