Matthew is an experienced and committed community campaigner. He has been active in local politics for over 38 years and has championed many causes on behalf of residents.
Matthew has lived in Stevenage all of his adult life and cares passionately about our town. With his local knowledge, he is the candidate who can unleash Bedwell’s potential. Matthew believes that the Council needs to focus on getting Bedwell’s streets cleaned, tackling fly-tipping and opposing development of more over-priced tower blocks. We need family homes with gardens, not more tower blocks.
He also understands the anxiety caused by the chronic lack of parking in many streets across Bedwell. Your area needs a Councillor who will champion more car parking for local residents, rather than pursuing patronising and discriminatory anti-motorist policies.
