Dhiren has lived with his family in Stevenage for past 20 years and understands the issues facing families in our town.
He has experience of working in the social care sector, with various local councils, which puts him in a good position to be a strong and effective voice of local people. He is keen to make a difference to resident’s everyday lives in Bandley Hill.
Dhiren believes in family values, and has two children, both of whom attend a secondary school in Stevenage and his wife works in a local special needs school. Like all residents, he works hard to pay his bills and understands the challenges Bandley Hill residents face on a day-to-day basis. Stevenage Labour’s creeping Council Tax increases are hitting local people hard.
Dhiren supports various charity organisations, helping children in poverty with education, as well as donating to research focused on improving the lives of people with sight loss and physical disabilities.
Dhiren’s key priorities are to secure more residential parking, better lighting as well as more CCTV to deter antisocial behaviour, and to launch a Bandley Hill residents association to make Bandley Hill an even better place to live.
